Capturing Natalie’s Senior Session on Her Gorgeous Property | Ann Arbor, MI

Late summer provided the perfect backdrop for Natalie’s senior photo session, held on her own beautiful property. With so many fun and picturesque spots to choose from, we spent a pleasant time exploring and capturing moments that reflect Natalie’s reserved personality and style. The weather was ideal—warm and sunny with plenty of clouds to diffuse the light, creating a soft, natural glow in every shot.

Natalie’s property was a photographer’s dream, offering a variety of scenic spots that made the session both dynamic and captivating. From the charming fence line to the serene pond, each location provided a unique backdrop that highlighted Natalie’s beauty and character. The meticulously mowed trail winding through her property added an extra touch of charm, making the session feel like a whimsical adventure.

There were two spots stood out as favorites during the session.  The first was the beautiful fence that runs along their property. The texture of the wood and the surrounding greenery created a beautiful contrast, making it a perfect spot for a variety of shots. The second was at the pond.  With its peacefulness and lush surroundings we captured some beautiful photos.

Natalie’s property provided endless opportunities for creativity. We took advantage of the different textures, colors, and natural elements, making each photo unique and reflective of her surroundings. Whether she was casually leaning against the fence, twirling in her dress by the pond, or walking down the mowed trail, Natalie’s personality and spirit were beautifully captured in every frame.

This session was particularly special for me, as I have known Natalie since she was in the 7th grade. As a homeschool graduate, Natalie took many classes with my own daughter, making this session a heartfelt and personal experience. Seeing her confidence and grace shine through the lens was incredibly rewarding.

After high school, she intends to attend community college and then pursue a career in physical therapy. Her dedication and ambition are truly inspiring, and I have no doubt she will excel in her chosen path.

Thank you, Natalie, for allowing me to capture this special moment in your life. It was an honor to work with you and explore your beautiful property. I hope these photos serve as a cherished reminder of your senior year and the wonderful memories you’ve created. Best of luck as you embark on your journey to community college and beyond in your pursuit of a career in physical therapy. Your future is bright, and I have no doubt you will achieve great things!

Aubrey’s senior session at Maybury State Park was one of those evenings where everything just came together.
