Kensington Metro Park | Senior Portrait Session | Homeschool Grad 2022

    This was Hannah's second senior session -- in additional to the traditional senior images, Hannah wanted an entire session of ballet photos.  I was excited to see what we could create together!  So, we headed back to Kensington Metro Park, only this time we found a very quiet spot so we could highlight her ballet skills!

    Hannah brought her soon-to-be sister-in-law, Summer, with her.  We had such a fun time together and Summer took plenty of behind-the-scenes video for me.

    She was full of energy but at the end of the shoot, I know she was tired.  She must have leaped and twirled and jumped hundreds of times!  I have no idea how many times she balanced on point "to get the shot" but she did it and it was all worth it -- we got some amazing shots!!

    Hannah brought two skirts to wear to change up the look and bring some variety.  I think the sage green was my favorite!  It was so soft and flowy -- it complemented her ability and let her shine! 

    From the private path to the little village by the Farm Center, we worked the light and the environment and conquered the task!

    At the very end of her shoot, I asked her to put on her cap n gown and I snapped a couple of pictures to commemorate her graduation.

    Now that she is done with high school, Hannah is taking her dancing career to the next level. She’s headed to Ballet Magnificat in Mississippi, where she will be a Trainee Level 2!

Serena’s senior session was one for the books. We met on a beautiful September evening at Terraces Flower Farm , just a couple of hours before sunset.   Capturing Memories: A Family Session at Kensington Metro Park This past weekend, I had the absolute pleasure of photographing a truly remarkable family session at Kensington Metro Park . The Martin family - with fifteen family members coming together—Mom, Dad, their eleven kids, and two daughters-in-law—the session was a celebration of connection, and togetherness.   Jesse and Lydia's Magical Engagement Session at Kensington Metro Park Love was in the air this August at Kensington Metro Park , where I had the pleasure of photographing Jesse and Lydia's engagement session.
