    I am so excited to share this Belle Isle Senior session with you today! When Olivia’s mom, Alison, reached out about doing Olivia’s senior photos, I just couldn’t wait to work with her! I've known Alison and Olivia for about 10 years but hadn't seen then in a while so it was great to catch up!

Olivia - Class of ‘22 | Bloomfield Christian School | Senior


    Olivia was excited to have her photos taken at Belle Isle Park.  This small treasure in Detroit is filled with beauty.  From stunning architecture to beautiful weeping willows, it is a sight to behold. Even though the evening was hot and humid, and the sky was overcast, that didn’t stop us from having a great time and capturing some great pics of Olivia! 

    We started at the old casino building and got so many great images of Olivia.  From there, we walked around the grounds and utilized the willow trees and the manicured lawn. We made our way over to the red bridge and had a ton of fun there.  Next, we landed at the fountain and while the fountain was not running the structure itself is beautiful and made for some great photos. We finished at the iconic clock tower!  Not only is it a gorgeous structure but the colors on the tower perfectly complemented the blue dress Olivia was wearing at the end of her shoot. I am so excited that I was able to document Olivia at such a great location.

    Olivia came prepared with three different dresses to show off!  She was gorgeous in each one. She exemplified grace in her green dress at the casino hall.  This girl is a natural in front of the camera and I am so grateful to have been able to capture her.

    I absolutely love the fun look of these images on the bridge with Olivia twirling in her white dress and black boots!  Side note – if you bring a dress to your photo session, I will 100% have you twirl in it. Olivia showed off a sense of inner beauty in her blue dress at the fountain and the water tower.  She was up for so many fun poses and she made this session easy.

    Thank you so much for allowing me to capture these precious moments for you, Olivia! She is headed to Grove City College in the fall!

Aubrey’s senior session at Maybury State Park was one of those evenings where everything just came together.   Jesse and Lydia's Magical Engagement Session at Kensington Metro Park Love was in the air this August at Kensington Metro Park , where I had the pleasure of photographing Jesse and Lydia's engagement session. Despite their busy schedule while visiting family, this newly engaged couple made time for a delightful and memorable photo shoot.
